Systems Engineer (Everett)

Local IT consulting company is looking for a Systems Engineer with strong industry experience in 100+ user environments. We provide outsourced IT services to small and medium-sized businesses in the Everett area. Most of your time will be spent working in the Everett/Snohomish County area, on site with our clients, building relationships and managing their technology. Flexible schedule, full time or part time. If you are a good fit, we will work something out.

Required Technical Skills:

* LAN/WAN Design, IP Routing
* Microsoft systems including Windows Server, Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7, MS Office
* MS Small Business Server 2003/2008
* Exchange 2003/2007
* SQL 2000/2005
* Backup Solutions
* Anti-virus Solutions
* Firewalls
* Routers

Responsibilities:

* Learn our business model and service offerings
* Communicate our service offerings to prospects & clients
* Perform security and performance audits at prospect & client sites
* Provide break/fix and maintenance services for our clients
* Install managed services software at client sites
* Provide technical oversight to managed services accounts

Credentials and Experience:

* College graduate
* MCSE Certification or equivalent
* 5-10 years experience
* Telecom experience a plus
* Cisco certification a plus

Miscellaneous Requirements:

* Ability to work from home via PC and high speed internet access
* Valid WA state drivers license
* Laptop
* Cell phone
* Reliable vehicle
