Come be part of our Winning Team!!! TripleNet Technologies has a full time opportunity for an Embedded Systems Hardware Test Engineer with a client in the Wireless Sector in Renton, Washington.

Summary
Key member of the test team. Responsibilities include identifying and defining detailed system and subsystem tests for communication systems and their associated interfaces with other applications, preparing test plans and defining test configurations to support required tests. Appropriately represent the needs of stakeholders while maintaining overall project integrity.

Major Duties:
Based on an understanding of product and system requirements and functionality, participate in the development of test plans and test cases.
Generate test scripts.
Prepare and maintain test plans.
Work closely with the development team, program office, and customers in identifying required tests.
Participate in functional, integration, usability, configuration and installation testing.
Execute test cases in accordance with test plans.
Communicate test results and status.
Evaluate the outcome of each test cycle and participate in reviews.

Essential:
Minimum of a BS degree in engineering, computer science, or related field
5+ years experience with communication systems test engineering and requirements analysis
Detailed knowledge of both manual and automated testing of embedded systems
Detailed knowledge of Ethernet networks, TCP/IP, and other communication protocols
3+ years experience using a scripting language for testing and control of products and systems
Clear understanding of embedded software development practices
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills plus well-developed office software skills
Organized and detailed self starter, able to work independently with little supervision
Adapts readily to changes in scope and purpose
Understanding of common software failures and faults

Desirable
Experience with development or testing of wireless systems and products
Experience in development of embedded software, C/C++, and real time systems
Working knowledge of common RF, wireless protocols, network topologies, and IT infrastructure
Working knowledge of telecom networks

Release Management:
-Organize and participate in release planning sessions
-Drive release planning efforts
-Work with product owner and scrum masters/development team leaders for prioritization
-Influence priorities based on business needs/value
-Release coordination during development phases
-Release coordination and communication during and after deployment
-Support change management

Continuous Improvement:
-Implement tactical improvements for Release coordination
-Leverage tools throughout the SDLC process.
-Maintain documentation of all processes
-Maintain areas of expertise to ensure tactical improvements persist
-Standardize Release processes and educate stakeholders.
-Drive process improvement initiatives
-Improve upon overall quality of deliverables
-Process integration

Experience & Qualifications

-3+ years experience in software project management.
-2 years experience with agile development methodologies.
-Experience in all phases of software development lifecycle.
-Excellent communication skills with maturity in judgement and calm under pressure.
-Ability to manage tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
