-Write code to test the ecommerce platform on each layer of our architecture
-Collaborate with developers on the best design and practices
-Follow feature development from design to release
Required Qualifications:
-Degree in Computer Science or Engineering field
-3 years of experience testing data-driven web applications
-2+ years of programming experience in the workplace
-Experience writing test automation including API level tests
-OOP experience
-Ability to write complex SQL queries
-Experience with Linux
-Ability to work side by side with developers without making them feel too bad about their buggy code

Roles and responsibilities:
-(20% of time) Provides first level of formal management within software development area.
-(40%) Architect, design, develop, program, and modify software enhancements and new tools.
-(20%) Reviews development and project requirements and makes recommendations to satisfy business needs.
-(20%) Responsible for mentoring and developing team members.
Minimum Requirements:
-Typically requires BS + 7, (MS + 5, PhD + 2) years experience in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline with some management/supervisory experience preferred
-Possesses knowledge, skills and abilities required to resolve complex software development issues.
-Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor team members.
-Strong knowledge in network, integrated web applications and knowledge of multimedia delivery system infrastructure.
-Technical experience with UNIX, HTTP, SOAP, XML, SQL, security issues, and networking topologies.
-Expert knowledge of Service Oriented technologies including Implementation level of Web Services as Service, Web Services, WS-* standards, OSS/J, and JBI
-Strong coding skills in Java or other relevant programming development skills.
-Understanding of at least one database
