Position Charter & Experience
? Support and manage all technical aspects of the data warehouse (Oracle data store) and integration platform at Vertafore
? Work closely with the Finance organization and analyze business needs and priorities
? Develop and manage integration plans for disparate systems across the Vertafore environment
Key Accountabilities
? Manage the deployment of data warehouse/store for Vertafore. Develop plans to expand tool to other areas of business
? Work closely with the Finance organization to develop business requirements and subsequently develop workable and scalable solutions for reporting and data aggregation
? Work closely with the ERP team and other business units to develop plans for transactional data extraction and loads into to data warehouse
? Develop stored procedures, views and other objects as required for data analysis for various departments
? Develop technical documentation for all assigned work
? Interact with department leads to define and develop analytical programs for reporting

? 5+ years of development experience in Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse tools
? Strong programming experience in relational databases (SQL server/Oracle)

? 2+ years of data analysis experience required
? Integration experience with Office Products highly desired
? Prior work experience in establishing departmental data marts/data stores for corporate analysis and reporting
Education Requirements
? Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or commensurate work experience

The PSR will combine their experience in using operating systems, the insurance industry and call centers to support a cutting-edge software solution. You will be directly impacting the insurance agencies ability to improve productivity, manage account needs, standardize and streamline processes, as well as capture data for strategic decision-making.
Part time hours are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Five weeks of paid, part time training Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. is required prior to beginning the part time schedule.
Key Accountabilities
95% on phone Trouble shooting for customer application problems and questions.
Provide support and assistance to our customer by phone, PC or Webex
Write Solutions for our Knowledge base system to help agents and others in our department with troubleshooting.
Analyzes problems with software applications to identify problem area(s) and recommend corrective action.
Maintains log of problems so that recurring problems can be reported to product development.
Recommends solutions to customer application questions.
Professional and Technical Competencies
Insurance background required.

Experience with Windows Vista and/or Windows XP operating systems.
Ability to perform remote trouble shooting and problem resolution.
