HDR is looking for a qualified individual to support internal/remote clients and IT assets mainly in our Bellevue office, focusing 90% on end user/desktop support. Qualified candidates will use their technical expertise to configure and maintain computers, software, and related peripherals. They will be directly responsible for hardware and software configuration and their distribution.
Responsible for troubleshooting software and hardware problems. Responsible for hardware and software inventory and management. Will follow stated company policies and procedures to solve complex problems considering systems' capabilities and desired results. Will also provide technical consultation, assistance, and training for all staff. Other duties may include short and long term IT projects as assigned by supervisor.

High School Diploma Required.
Associates or Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field Preferred. Technical School, Degree in MIS or equivalent experience in systems operations and maintenance.
Minimum 3-5 years experience in technical hardware/software support of PC required. Technical certifications preferred, especially A+ and Net+ and working knowledge of Windows XP/7, Windows 2003/2008 Server, and Microsoft Office applications. Excellent client service, interpersonal and communication skills, self-starter, ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines with minimal supervision in a team environment. Ability and willingness to travel. Availability to work long hours, weekends and holidays.

Job Description
We are currently looking for a career-minded candidate with at least 1 year of helpdesk or IT service experience for our Technical Support Specialist position. This entry level position will work with internal end users and external customers to resolve or escalate technical issues in a Service Desk environment. Key Responsibilities will include troubleshooting issues with PCs, IP phones, PC patching and updates, laptops, software, printers, etc, as well as configuring and supporting mobile phones and/or BlackBerry devices. Additionally working with network management tools, assist with projects, travel to Vancouver WA. occasionally, as needed.
Required Skills, Experience, & Qualifications:
-Active Directory, Server 2003/2008 and Network Admin experience preferred
- At least 1 year previous helpdesk or IT service experience, we would prefer at least 2 years experience and/or equivalent college education. Additionally A+/MCP strongly preferred and optional certifications include MCTS, MCITP, Security + and Network +.
- MS Office 2003/2007, Windows XP, Windows 7 troubleshooting skills.
