A locally owned and operated Full Computer Solutions organization is seeking to hire a replacement Field Technician for Onsite Break Fix warranty work. In this position you would be driving to various locations of customers of certain large technology manufactures. We are based in Shelton, Wa but are service area is up and down the I-5 corridor from Chehalis to Seattle and as well as west to the coast and East to the foothills. As a field Technician you will be on customers sites working on Desktops, Laptops, POS equipment, and the occasional Laser Printer and LCD TV.
You are an independent contractor in this position and As such you are responsible for a call from the moment it is opened until the call is closed out. You will be required to not only provide technical skills, but be diligent to update the manufactures twice a day with the status of the work orders. Time management and organizational skills are just as important as technical skills in this position.
REQUIRED SKILLS
-Excellent Customers services are a MUST
-Personal skills such as punctuality, organizational skills, & time management or also required. Most of your work time is spent unsupervised and you are accountable for your performance.
- At least two years experience with computer or POS equipment is required.
-Applicant must have good troubleshooting and problem solving skills. Not just with hardware but an array of different situations and people.
-Must be physically able to climb stairs, walk from distant parking locations and lift equipment up to 75lbs.
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
-High School Diploma or GED.
- A+ or some kind of industry certification not required but a definite plus.
-In order to obtain and hold the position you MUST be able to pass two manufacture certs within a week. Certs are open book, however, so fairly easy.
OTHER REQUIREMENT
-Must have your own car, valid driver

Primary job functions of the Help Desk Support position will include acting as primary contact for users needing hardware/software support relating to PCs and all PC related applications i.e.; in-house systems Traffic, Rate Vendor management systems as well as and Fax, telephones, printer and voice mail systems. The Help Desk Support position will work effectively within the Information Services Department to provide application, hardware/software, and documentation support. This position must adhere to all established procedures and processes regarding hardware configurations and software installations.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Possess a minimum of 2 years customer service experience
