Our Client is looking for a Technical Project Manager to join their team on the eastside. This person will be Responsible for managing project teams in the design, development and testing of HW and SW testing systems. Works with the Test Engineering Manager and the PMO to plan and execute product test development projects, translating requirements into tasks and schedules using knowledge of the industry and delivery methodology. Facilitates communications between team members and eliminates barriers to getting the work done. Promotes company policies and engineering practices to the team in their efforts to complete their tasks. Communicates the status of projects to management on a frequent and consistent basis and as required due to changing circumstances within a project.
Supervisory Requirements
Operates under minimal supervision and working with loosely defined problems and requirements related to existing and new company products. The supervision will be either from the Department Manager or a Program Manager for the project system or product being developed for delivery to customers.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Maintaining environment configuration and controls, developing and maintaining the automated software build processes, developing and maintaining required software installation packages, software promotion to various testing environments and the final release of software to Document Control, as applicable
Create, maintain, and manage software release mechanics (including any required automation tools or scripts)
Responsible for producing or improving automation in software production
Partner with development team to maintain/enhance production-quality configuration/deployment tools and installers
Work with the operations team and engineering teams to plan, coordinate, and deploy releases to the live site seamlessly
Understand the release requirements and dependencies for future releases and make the required changes in test, staging & production environments
Key participant in build management and deployment process
Work with Product, Test, Development and the NetOps teams to ensure a smooth and trouble-free roll out of releases
Support multiple concurrent releases through various test environments
Maintain and support multiple test environments, ensuring that these environments are properly setup, configured, and available for each project as scheduled
Troubleshoots deployment and configuration by working closely with the development, test and program management teams resolve issues as they arise and implement deployment processes though each step in the software development lifecycle

ESSENTIAL TASKS & DUTIES:
- Designs, develops, maintains and troubleshoots software programs for applications in PC and client/server areas with limited direction.
- Works with Sales and Marketing and other areas within Zetec during the development of new software products to define product requirements.
- Completes complex design for new software products upon approval of specifications and performs basic to complex maintenance on existing software products.
- Works with Product Test team to enable them to complete program testing and then develop specifications to resolve complex problems.

QUALIFICATIONS:
For reasons of export compliance individual must be a US citizen or a US Permanent Resident. Individual must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified matter and may be subject to a Federal background investigation.
- Experience in a windows platform using C++ and Qt required
- XML, STL, SQL, and Boost experience preferred.
- Effective communication skills, including strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Ability to work toward and achieve scheduled deadlines.
- Ability to troubleshoot basic to moderately complex system problems.
- Bachelors degree in computer science or related technical field or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of two to four years programming experience in a variety of languages, including object-oriented languages.
- Experience designing and implementing user interface based applications required.
- Experience interfacing with hardware control systems required
